Storyboards Selection
November 3rd, 2008I’ve done storyboards for a number of TV commercials for the global market, as well as some music videos, mostly working for agencies like Independent & FM Rocks over the last 5 years. I’m based in London & can work in-house or remotely via internet broadband, so turnaround can be quick.
Selection of my favourite individual frames from various boards over the last 5 years. I’m often called in to amend existing boards for commercials, or just to do some concept illustrations like this.
Flash/Character Design: BBC “Taggers” Pitch
October 22nd, 2008As part of a pitch for an online animation series called “Taggers”, a tale of young graffiti artists, and their trials and tribulations. Those fantastic Shoreditch creatives,”Preloaded”, were leading the job. I produced these character, background and concept designs, starting as always on paper and finishing all artwork in Flash.

Storyboards: HSBC
October 22nd, 2008Client: HSBC. Director: Jake Nava. This was part of HSBC’s “Everyone looks at the world from a different point of view. What’s your point of view?” campaign. In this commercial we have an exuberant Brazilian tour guide, throwing his all into celebrating the world-famous “Maracana” stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

October 22nd, 2008Storyboards: Rimmel, Nathalie Imbruglia & George Michael
October 22nd, 2008A selection of boards for Director Jake Nava, one of the best in the business, working for Jake is never dull.
Client: Rimmel. Director: Jake Nava. This was one of many Nava’s Rimmel ads starring Kate Moss.
Client: Nathalie Imbruglia. Director: Jake Nava. Music promo for the artist’s ”Shiver” single. We were in the same hotel at one point, but I was never allowed to meet her. I didn’t ask, they just told me.
Client: George Michael. Director: Jake Nava. Music promo for the artist’s ”An Easier Affair” single. Some concept art also had to be done for this.
Storyboards: Ballantine’s
October 22nd, 2008Illustration: White Goods
September 25th, 2008The first time anyone’s asked me to specifically illustrate white goods, this made me realise I could actually draw a half-decent fridge when called upon. These were for Gadgetmedia whose client, Stratagene, sell special storage kit for pharmaceutical goods, & needed a website revamp. I provided these new illos to replace some cartoon style fridges. Will upload grabs from the website when it goes live.
